Click the Small Firm Compensation & Benefits Survey link (top) if:
- your firm has only one office, and it is in the U.S.
- it is organized as a "sole proprietorship" (with or without staff)
OR it is chartered in some way other than sole proprietorship, but has only 1 or 2 architecture employees*
- it has at least 1 full-time architecture employee
Click the Compensation Survey & Benefits Survey link (bottom)
if your firm does not qualify for the above, and if you can provide staffing and compensation
information for:
- at least one domestic office
- having 3 or more architecture employees*
- at least 1 of whom is a full-time architecture employee
* "Architecture employees" includes both full- and part-time employees (on the payroll),
but excludes contractors, in these categories:
- principals/partners or other major owners of the firm
- licensed architects
- non-licensed architectural staff (not on the path to licensure)
- emerging professionals (on the path to licensure) and/or students
Do not count engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, planners, and other non-architecture staff.
If you are unsure which survey to complete, or believe someone else at your firm should be asked
to complete your firm's survey, please contact us.
